This poster was made for my Botanical Illustration class and was completed by reaching out to Head Botanist, Dr. Gary Krupnick, and Botanical Illustrator, Alice Tangerini, from The Smithsonian Institution.
Dr. Krupnick generously provided dried specimens that, alongside various photographic references, allowed me to rebuild the plant in living form. Receiving instruction from both my instructor, Nancy Hart, as well as Alice Tangerini allowed me to better understand all that Botanical Illustration involves.
